LiftStack Beta Is Live
After a longer-than-expected journey, LiftStack Beta is officially live.
First, thank you for your patience. Building LiftStack has taken more time than I originally anticipated, but that time was intentional. From day one, the goal was to create a platform that feels reliable, thoughtful, and genuinely useful for discovering protein products.
LiftStack is currently built by a very small team: just myself and one developer. This is also my first product, and I wanted to make sure the experience felt stable, smooth, and worth your time from the moment you got access.
A big part of that meant building a strong foundation of data.
We’re launching beta with over 175 products (800+ flavor variants) across 110+ brands, all structured so you can actually search, filter, and compare in a meaningful way.
Originally, we planned to rely on third-party APIs for nutritional data. But after testing multiple options, we found that the data was often incomplete, inaccurate, or missing entirely. Because of that, we made the decision to build our own database from scratch.
Every product currently on LiftStack has been manually input. Including nutritional information, ingredients, allergens, product tags, and images.
It was a long process, but it allows us to provide a level of accuracy and structure that we couldn’t get anywhere else.
If you do come across anything that looks incorrect or missing, you can report it directly from the product page using the form under the allergens section. That feedback helps us improve quickly.

LiftStack Ratings Beta
Our rating system is currently in beta.
Right now, ratings are based on our nutrition scoring system, which is one of three pillars that will make up the full LiftStack Rating.
In future updates, we’ll be expanding this to include experience and value, creating a more complete and balanced score.
Because of this, the ratings you see today are subject to change and improvement as we continue refining the system.
What’s coming next
This is just the beginning.
There are features we initially planned for launch that we’ve decided to push to post-beta so we could get LiftStack into your hands sooner. We already have several updates in progress and will be rolling them out in the coming weeks.
We’ll also be continuously expanding the database with new brands, products, and variants every week.
If there’s something you want to see on the platform, you can submit a brand request directly from your profile inside LiftStack.
The goal is simple: build the most complete and useful protein product database on the web.
